Olivia Wang ’25 loves to surf. With support from Fischlowitz Travel Fellowship, she traveled to California, Wisconsin, and Florida to explore the sport.

This semester, the College’s student newspaper and radio station have collaborated to launch a new project called Scarlet Sessions. Scarlet Sessions will serve as an opportunity for student musicians to have their music professionally recorded and released on The Scarlet and Black’s social media. 

After sweeping the Iowa College Media Association (ICMA) awards, the S&B co-editors in chief Eleanor Corbin ’24 and Nick El Hajj ’24 reflected on the newspaper’s accomplishments and the unseen work that drives its success.

The Student Organization of Latinx, an affinity group for �ֲ���ý���’s Latinx members, hosts long-time traditions like Quince, SOL Potluck, and Reggaeton.

Beyond the events, the food, and the fun sponsored by the International Student Organization, ISO’s most important role is to create a home for international students at �ֲ���ý���.
